The National Cooperative Services Corporation (NCSC) has introduced a new name and brand: Utility Capital Solutions, marking the next phase in the organization’s evolution.
The new name, launched at the organization’s Annual Meeting, held June 15 in conjunction with CFC Forum, is designed to more clearly reflect the organization’s role in delivering financing solutions to electric cooperatives, telecommunications providers and special-purpose entities that are engaged in project finance.

For 45 years, NCSC has provided specialized financing to help rural utilities expand infrastructure, pursue new opportunities and better serve their communities. Over time, that role has grown beyond affiliate financing to include a broader set of services tailored to the needs of a changing industry. In addition, the consolidation of NCSC and the RTFC entity further reflected the broader scope of the organization’s business lines.
The Utility Capital Solutions name is intended to better align with that expanded scope, emphasizing the organization’s focus on delivering flexible, transaction-specific capital solutions.
The rebrand also includes an updated visual identity, featuring a new logo and color palette designed to present a more modern and recognizable look.
“This new name more clearly reflects Utility Capital Solutions’ focus in terms of who we serve and how we assist to meet financing needs,” CEO Andrew Don said. “We remain committed to providing tailored financing solutions that help our members move their projects forward and support the communities they serve.”
While the name and visual identity have evolved, the organization’s mission remains unchanged. Utility Capital Solutions will continue to supplement CFC’s financing options and trusted support to rural utility members and their affiliates.
